Operation Renovation: A Veterans Affair

NHS Operation Renovation: A Veterans Affair is now taking applications for the 2018 event.

Operation Renovation: A Veterans Affair is a dynamic project that is widely supported by the Berks County community and organized by Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Berks that both funds repairs and makes the repairs to homes in our community that are owned by U.S. veterans and their families that they are unable to make.

Over the past three years, with extensive community collaboration, we have renovated close to 150 homes!!

2018 is Operation Renovation’s fourth year.

During the week of June 24 – 30, 2018, we will be working with volunteers from our community to complete home repair projects for senior, disabled, and/or low-income veteran homeowners completely free of charge.

We want you to join us!!

If you are a veteran homeowner in need of home repairs you are unable to make on your own, you could qualify to have your repair projects done free of charge. Please call Jessie at 610.372.8433 x 213 or email jdidow@nhsgreaterberks.org.
